Comments My deepest gratitude to Capt Courtney and his team. Schooner Harvey Gamage did not have the manueverability to get in and later out of of the dock space with such a narrow canal. Comments I have around 500 Airplane tire that I acquired with some property. My grandfather worked for Eastern Airlines back in the 1960's & 70's, he brought these tires home to build fences with for the hogs. I am preparing to load them up in a trailer and send them somewhere other than where they are now. I was always told they would be perfect for tugs and docks because of the size, uniformity and overall width. If you are interested, I have the ability to load and ship a full tractor . I am asking $7500.00. That would be way less than $20 each. Some of these tires are treaded but most had the treads removed and prepped for retread which gave them a rounded finish. I have four sizes ranging from 30" in diameter to 36", 40", and 46". All of them are about 18"-22" wide and the lightest weight is about 40lbs on up to the heaviest about 80lbs. These are very thick unvucanized rubber with nylon corded inside. The inner rim core has a steel ring imbedded deep within the rubber. I can only move these tires in cold weather due to the snak
