I am a mom of a currently 10 yo, 4th grader @ Summit Elementary. Every year since 5K, I have chaperoned the Summit Imagine a Day field trip & this morning, my son said, "Mom- be sure to take off work for Imagine a Day again! It's my LAST YEAR!!!" So I decided to look at your website & see what Courtney's story is all about. As a passionate MADD-WI mom...thank you! Thank you for sharing your daughter's memory to bless so many kiddos!

Courtney was one of Aunika's best friends. They had just talked to each other in the hall at school end making plans for a YMCA playdate on that tragic day. She is still missed and never forgotten. As a mother I clearly recall getting the call on Saturday, the conversations a parent should never have to have with their child, and the emotional struggle of dealing with loss and grief. I can only imagine what your family has gone through. I keep you all in my prayers and visit their memorial whenever we come to town. Thank you for raising such a precious young lady. The world lost some wonderful people too soon.

A special thanks to the Imagine A Day Founcation. Silver Lake Intermediate School was able to host the Trinity Irish Dancers for our entire school population of 700 students. Thanks to your grant, all students at SLI had an enjoyable hour viewing the dancers and celebrating St. Patrick's Day!

Courtney's poem was read this week at a Victim Impact Meeting in Fond du Lac. The poem was read by Judge Grimm before the three speakers spoke. I wrote down the name of the Poem and looked it up online today. Courtney's photo on the website is precious and so candid and spontaneous. She touched my heart with her innocence. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know your family members who were killed in this accident are always in your hearts and close to you in that way. My first grandchild, Liam Anthony, lived for one hour and seven minutes after his birth. Liam will be in our hearts forever. God Bless!

I would like to thank the "Imagine a Day" Board of Directors for there generous contribution of $500 to Silver Lake Intermediate School. Your generosity by providing students at Silver Lake with an afternoon of music and peforming arts to cultivate and promote our students interests is very much appreciated. We currently have a small committee looking at some programs for children. Thank you for supporting Silver Lake School, and helping to provide a quality education for the children at Silver Lake Intermediate School.

Imagining people are more inspired by art because Cortney lived. I will always cherish the memory of the day you walked with Doc and me to check tip-ups on the ice. Doc was a puppy. You were 9. I had delivered your Christmas gift that day and you smiled so big. I imagine a day because you lived.

I just returned from the "Imagine a Day" trip to Lapham Peak with my 1st grade son from Summit Elementary. It was such an amazing day and I am so happy and grateful to have shared it with my child. Courtney and I had been friends since kindergarden. I remember us playing the violin together and having fun playing tag outside at recess. Then I moved in forth grade and never saw her again. And when I heard she died and I cried for a whole intire day. I miss her so much. I wish so badly she were still here. And have a chance to see her one last time.
