Comments I heard your music on Lonely, Lonely Sweet Girl today, and I truly love your music. I’m almost 69, and you were my favorite band when I was a teenager. I MUST get my hands on some! Where can I get your music? I’ll look on my own too. I love you guys; bet you didn’t know how near and dear to my heart you are.

Comments I dedicated "Every day with you girl" to my girl friend when the song came out in 69. Now my wife have been married 50 years as of April 18,1970 and I played that song for her on our anniversary. Thanks Dennis Yost Classic IV

Comments I played with both Garard and Joe in the early 80's for several years. Breaks my heart that Joe's untimely end happened. "New Horizon" was scarily prophetic.

Comments Good to see this site. I "sat in" and the played sax with the Echoes in Jax before going into the USAF in 63. Jerry Seig played bass and Dennis stood up and sang while playing the trap set. I had never seen a drummer stand and play and sing. I still have their blue band business card. We played at the Mayport Naval station enlisted club several times. I would take Dennis home. As I recall he was living with his g'mother on the north side of Jax? Glad the Classics made it and did well over the years. I remember hearing their first hit "Spooky" when I was stationed in Texas. Sorry to hear about Dennis' accident. Our "cover band" still plays "Spooky" and "Traces". I have also researched the sax players on the hit records and have it d! in "The History of Top 40 Saxophone Solos-1955-2019". Mike and Ray. At any rate keep those wonderful hit songs going!!

Comments Good Evening, I really enjoyed seeing you guys in the "Happy Together Tour", in Tarrytown, NY, this year. Lots of very fond memories were made, to your songs over the years, .. IF you know what I mean, .. eh? LOL, anyway, enough traveling down memory lane. 'Was just wondering if you guys are signed on for NEXT year's tour, as well? BTW, I'm the guy who found your Sharpie Magic Markers, in the Bar & Grill down the street, before the show. Take care, and hope to see you, next year, .. Steve S.

Comments "Traces" was the finest ballad of the 60's by far. The melancholy sadness was expressed so beautifully by the Band and Dennis. He knew how to interpret such a wonderful song. We are joining the Flower Power Cruise in March 2020, We'll see you there. Dale Peterson Richmond, BC Canada

Comments My wife and I saw the Classics IV at the Happy Together Tour concert in Pompano Beach, Fl on June 4th. Loved the show and the songs were as great as when I first heard them. I didn't get the singers name. Who is he and was he in the original group? He was fantastic. The saxophonist was on the mark on the solo bits. Thanks.

Comments My wife and I saw the Classics Four at the Happy Together 2019 show at the Imperial Palace Casino in Biloxi on 6.7.2019. Having followed the group since the 60's, I'm confident Dennis was smiling after last Friday night's appearance in Biloxi. To me, they out performed the other acts in the lineup.

Comments Who is singing lead in the band? Dennis Yost died a few years ago & I was wondering who would sing lead. I'm planning to go to the Happy Together concert in Dayton Ohio next August.

Comments I liked the music of the Classics IV. Dennis' voice was superb and emotional on delivering these sensitive lyrics. Thank you for the memories. Thanks to the other band members too and for the wonderful saxophone playing! God bless Linda and Dennis' family!

Comments I've always liked Classics IV's music, and I was sorry to hear about Mr Yost's passing. I don't know if you've heard this before, but on the basis of the style and voices, I always thought that yours was an Afro-American group, possibly aligned with Motown. And I'm sure you understand that that is a compliment. So, hello from an old fan (I'm 71 now) and thanks for all the music. Mark Kinsler

Comments I was just a kid of about 8, but I remember this song and could sing along. I miss the old songs and the sense they made. Nothing lasts forever and nothing is like it was when a person is a kid. Miss you David Yost and the Classics IV!!

Comments As a teenager in the late 60’s growing up in a small town in Oklahoma Dennis Yost and his incredible voice was such a joy to hear when he came on my little transistor radio. Still love his songs all these years later.

Comments April 13, 2018 FYI: An open letter from Linda Yost about Dennis Yost’s choice of band members to continue his legacy.... Dennis and I chose Tom to succeed him after Dennis’ accident because he had the same “classy” and “classic” presence on stage and off as Dennis. Also, Dennis and Tom became close in the year that they collaborated together on what the future of Classics IV would sound and look like. Dennis and I LOVED the BAND! Most of them had been together for years during the time Tom would regularly bring recordings to Dennis of their rehearsals for Dennis to hear. Dennis was so pleased with them and during their first collaborative show he never stoped smiling! And Dennis was a perfectionist when it came to music, as is Tom! I agree Dennis had a unique. voice, but Tom’s voice, character, style, and presentation of Dennis’ songs are as close to Dennis Yost as you will ever get! And the BAND (they’d me boys!) are so true to the original recordings that it is “SPOOKY”! The Classics IV Legacy is well represented, better than I ev
