We stayed at the Mavambo only as we we're let down by an earlier booking. We should've just booked to stay here. Very clean, modern chalet within a few minutes ride of the lifts. Very helpful owners who live locally and give you those extra gems of information that aren't in your guide books. Have already recommended, we'll be back.

Nous étions venus faire le Trail de Verbier-St-Bernard, et le Chalet Mavambo était parfait pour se reposer avant et après. Idéalement place pour se rendre à Verbier avec le télécabine. Le chalet est grand ce qui permet d'avoir assez de place lorsqu'on est un groupe. Décoré avec goût, cuisine équipée. C'était tellement bien qu'on revient en 2015. C'est booké !!!

Mavambo chalet was perfect for our summer hiking holiday. It's in a great location close to restaurants, shops and supermarkets and a 3 minute walk from the Verbier ski lift. The chalet is modern and beautifully styled. The kitchen, dining and living area is a lovely large space, with comfortable sofas that are very easy to relax in after a day walking in the mountains! The kitchen is large and easy for several people to work in and is very well equipped.The bedrooms are very comfortable and roomy and the beds in particular are of a very high standard. There are four bathrooms - one for each bedroom and they are well presented. The chalet was very clean and the owners were lovely to deal with. We can't wait to return in the ski season. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!

Thank you for a wonderful stay! We had a group of 8 people and Chalet Mavambo was perfect! The chalet is spacious and well suited for big groups. There is plenty of room to cook and eat meals as a group and the kitchen is wonderful and well equipped. There are many bathrooms, which are key to getting a group out the door on time and together. Located minutes from the lift and bus to Verbier made it easy and convenient to commute. The couple who owns the chalet is wonderful. Chalet Mavambo is highly recommended and I can't wait to go back (hopefully this season)!

Chalet Mavambo was the perfect solution to our Verbier ski vacation! The location was great - an easy walk to the lift and it is so convenient that the grocery is just around the corner. Also nice that there are a couple of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. The chalet itself was just perfect. Updated and tidy - I love that every bedroom has it's own dedicated bathroom and the beds were so comfortable and the bedding really nice and pillows were comfortable. I have stayed in plenty of 5 Star hotels and this was every bit as nice! The kitchen was also very well equipped! It had everything we needed ~ even a French Press for our coffee! As much as I would like to keep this gem a secret, I would highly recommend it for a very delightful, convenient, affordable Verbier vacation! I look forward to returning! Also, thanks to Sonya for her communication, information and help in scheduling massage and restaurant reservations. Next time we may hire her to cook some meals if she's avaialable!!!

We have stayed in Mavambo for the last few years and have recommended it to friends! It's a beautiful chalet, in a great location, and the owners are extremely hospitable. We find it to be terrific value and it's easy to get to the big slopes, to great restaurants, to shopping or anything else you want to do on your holiday. It's roomy and clean and has all the amenities you could need. Great for a family or a large group of friends. We are already booked for this upcoming season!!!

I highly recommend the chalet Movambo for a Winter or Summer getaway! The chalet is very well kept, has been recently renovated and is in a great location, within mins walk of the telecabin that takes you to Verbier. There are also terrific mountain bike trails so this is also a great option for spring and summer. Michael and Sonya are very accomodating and helpful as far as where to go and what to do in the area. I will definitely be back!
