Comments I grew up on a cattle ranch in Texas and when it was time to cull our herd or take care of those rowdy bulls that didn't make the grade and we didn't want them breeding our registered heifers we'd use this product. Its fast, simple, and dependable. It does the job quickly and efficiently without a lot of stress on the animal.

Comments I was needing more bands and saw were to get more. I re watched your how to and saw how I messed up on one calf 4 years ago. Not going as low as you can go. I recomend a asprin bolis to keep them on feed,and not lay around for 2 days.

Comments I just purchased this bander to use on some of my larger boer goats. I am also going to experiment using it to remove the horns on a troublesome buck. With the standard elastrator, the metal prongs poke into the bucks head before I can get the green "cheerios" rolled off onto the soft base of the horn. I think the California bander is going to allow me to dehorn more effectively and more safely for the health of the animal. Thank you.

Comments A quick easy process on my goats. The first round, no adverse swelling, but none of the sacks fell off and had to be surgically removed after 14 days due to infection on every one. The second round, removed them at 9 days no more probs.Good idea to keep a close eye on them, after banding for flies.

Comments I was skeptical to say the least. I had always cut my bull calves with an All In One castrator tool. It was quick and relatively easy, and as long as you counted to 2, you did it right. A friend recommended the California Bander and it was quicker and easier. As I get older, safety is more and more of an issue and we did not have to tie off a leg or even risk and arm (or head) by getting behind the animal. You could do everything from above the animal in a squeeze chute. Not one ever even kicked while being banded. Great, simple product. Thanks. Jay Brunson
