Comments Chad, I know we have never met but we are on the same path in finding a cure for melanoma. I am a stage IV Melanoma Survivor that has put my talent as a scientist/researcher to help fight the cause. I was diagnosed in 2005 and also have website called Melanoma missionary. Here is what one patient/caregiver has said: "Thank you Jimmy. Bob is hanging in...feeling a bit better emotionally. We continue to bless you for having helped Bob to live more than 2 1/2 years from a grim diagnosis of 2 weeks - 2 months. You are one of our heros." Laurie As you can see, I take the quest for a cure very personal. I have developed a clinical protocol that was base on my own treatment. The problem is I need to get the Oncologists and Big Pharma on board. It is detail in a paper I wrote called "Melanoma and the Magic Bullet (Monoclonal Antibodies)" back in 2009 http://www.box.net/shared/kjgr6dkztj Maybe we can banned together to find a cure. Comments Thank you for creating an informative website. Two years ago melanoma crashed through our door and within a year my then 19 year old daughter Hannah lost her life to malignant melanoma. Since then I created ride4acure-Hannah Rose Melanoma Research Fund and have been consistantly raising awareness and funds for adolescent and young adult melanoma research. We're about to undertake a 4600km horse trek on 2.5.11 with my now 20 year old daughter Esther and son Joe 12 raising funds and awareness in schools across four states from East Coast to West Coast of Australia. www.ride4acure.com.au

Comments I was stunned to discover a Brenda MacDonald Melanoma Research Foundation. My sister, Brenda McDonald, died of melanoma on April 20, 2010. She was 53 years old. It had been nearly five years since a melanoma was removed from her arm. We thought she was home free, but it returned, directly to the brain. God Bless Your Efforts.
