Comments In 1980-something I went to Four Farthings with a now former-friend, and had a terrible time---due to the friend, not the staff (thus, "former" friend)! Since then I've wanted to return to reclaim it for myself! It's 2012...I think it's time!!!

Comments I am not sure what all you haters are talking about, but Four Farthings might have the best Saturday night karaoke in the city of Chicago. The staff is nothing other than friendly, affable and playful; true promoters of an open-armed, diverse atmosphere. You get a range of people from young to old, mixture of races, orientations and beliefs all with one thing in common: the desire to have a great time with their friends. DJ Luis is the man. I have been in countless times and would defend him by saying any offensive comment he may or may not have said was probably attributed to his lighthearted demeanor. He gives everyone a fair chance and even helps out during difficult parts of songs making the karaoke experience all the better. Insulting and delivering bad reviews through big, impressive words may impress small minds in Kansas, but you'll need a little more op-ed evidnece than "I was there ONCE and was offended. I think I'll try to burn this place down because I don't know how to have fun" to make a noise here in Chic
