O the first time I heard you at the ECT Club in Hollywood you sent me to the moon. When you sang Run To Me When Ever Your Lonely is was so different and wonderful. You may remember one night when someone had the nerve to be talking loudly while you were singing and when she got up to go to the power room my date went right after her into that power room and told her off saying while she was singing at a club in Florda she stopped the show and ordered someone talking while she sang to leave. She said she never played Florda but she did and she didn't go back to her seat but left the club. You heard about it and thanked my guest. We came back to see you when ever you were singing at the ETC. Years later I ran into you at a clients condo in Hollywood, Mr. Gagosian, and you said you remembered me sitting up front many nights, and I told you I had all your LP's which you said you didn't. It may sound strange but many years ago, I first heard your voice on a Bell telephone commercial. From that moment on, I went searching for a copy of that voice that made me want to immediately get a pocket full of dimes and start dialing.
