Hello I have a very sizable collection of Vintage Toys from the 1950s, 60, and 70s. I am now planning on selling some of them because I have no space left in my house. One toy I have seems to be a Great Mystery to all the So Called toy experts. I know everything there is to know about it except a Value, as it is an extremely Rare toy. It is a 1966 Multiple Toys PLAZER, New in the Box and in WORKING condition. Any feed back?

I was wondering if you had any info on a Marx product called MOT-O-RUN 4 lane hi-way? It is an electric toy that cards run around an oval. The strange thing is every set I have ever seen always has a Marx logo on the front of the box & I have one with no Marx logo or any reference to Marx! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for the time put into your site - I recently came across a near mint condition (still factory sealed) Design-It Decorating Machine - but because it was still sealed, I could not tell the correct date/age. I was very pleased to see it listed on your site which helped me to identify it. (I entirely agree with your comments around proper identification of items by the way). I will though be selling the item on, but if you want/need photos for any archives etc, I always contact sites such as yours in case I am able to help, please do let me know. Regards, Jerry - Another Vintage Toy enthusiast.

Isee you want to hear from former employees and want to hear there stores. When I sent you some you told me that your site was not a chat room and you removed my comments. I guess you have so many people writing you don't want to hear about the people and things that went on in the new York office.

I have photos of a Multiple Toymakers Popeye and Olive Oyl for your archives. They are circa late 1960s to early 1970s and were sent to my dad as a sample as he was a toy buyer. They are plastic and jointed and I honestly don't think they were ever placed into production. E-mail me and I will be happy to send the photos to you.

I read with interest with the information you have on Louis Marx. I am trying to put together information on the Toby Toys brand of Louis Marx Toys. I can only find one other site relating to the die-cast range of toys. Any information would be welcomed.

Louie Marx know most of the owners of resturants around new york city One year i had to go up to Longchamps and build a Santa workshop and wooden soliders in the main dinning room. Marx had the stock room at the office send up a ton of toys to give out to the kids. Marx had a wearhouse on the south side of 23 street just for toys that were given out to all the charites and special people, MOst people didnt know that he had a hart of gold and loved kids

Back in 1960 through 1970 Marx had my boss Cliff Freeland and myself go to the large dept stores and set up large displays for trains and slot cars. the store would set up a glassed table ,sometimes as big as 30 by 60 ft and we would build train layouts with trees lakes citys, the workes. the biggest one we built ws in RH macys in new york.We had a great time making them.OH by the way THat was when you had a santa clause in the store and kids liked to go shopping with Mom.

Who know that in this day we would have to buy our toys for the kids from ??? Lets see were do you go ? Target,Walmart,Kaymart. They control the toy market. And by the way the toys are made over in china by CHILDERN in slave condictions. Most of the toys that Marx made were done here in the U.S and his workers made a good days pay.

How big was Mr marx in toy making? Well so big that the new york office he had his own eleveator and a jogging track up on the roof.He also parked his Rolls Royce in front of the buildingnext to the johnny pump.
