Comments My older brother, Fernando M. "Jerry" Huerta took part in Gyroscope in 1955. He served 3 tours in the Nam. 1st(?)Bde., 101st Airborne Div (1965/66),back again with the 101st Airborne Div & 5th SF (1967/68),last time with 173 Airborne Bde.(1970/71..?). Jerry retired at Ft. Campbell in 1984. Jerry died of Parkinson's disease caused by Agent Orange in 2015. Our paths crossed at Phu Bai Combat base spring 1968. I STILL MISS HIM.

Comments I am facing one year in a Federal prison, and an $8,000 fine for displaying TRUMP signs outside of Fort Bragg N.C. A coordinated false arrest (Twice) for trespass was executed, and I was cuffed, perp walked, transported, ID'ed, finger-printed and DNA taken. This initiated by the Spring Lake Police Dept. and carried out by the Fort Bragg under color of law. This election process has gone beyond the Media spinning stories to their personal politics; it has come to abuse of lawful authority and dictatorial use of Law Enforcement. Comments My father was in the 82nd Airborne, 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment. He jumped into Normandy on D-Day. In 1975, he returned to Normandy on a tour and continued returning every June for the next 26 years. He formed the 508 Parachute Infantry Regiment Association, held reunions every year from 1976 to the year he died, 2001. At these reunions, soldiers who hadn't seen each other since the war, came together, cried, hugged, and had the time of their lives. His greatest accomplishment in his life, was bringing the guys back together again, reuniting old friends and meeting new friends on his many trips back to Normandy and other areas of the war. I had the privilege and the honor of meeting many of his fellow troopers and I found myself in the middle of greatness and history. This group of veterans are the bravest of the brave, and I enjoyed listening to their stories and having the honor of shaking their hands. I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps and have never been around anyone that compares to my father and his brothers. Whe
