I am one of the lucky few who knew Jennifer. She has touched my life and my memories of her are indelible. She is such a beautiful person, not just externally, but as a person as well. I remember calling her when I was down and talking to her for hours. She always had a way to make me laugh and feel better. Thank you for this site and the book. I can’t wait to read it. -Mark

Jenni's mother is my high school classmate and friend. Judy has always been known for her forthrightness in her dealings with others, so you can trust that her book is from the heart and based on her true emotions and life experience. Having lost my youngest sibling to a motorcycle accident on his 22nd birthday in 1987, I know Judy's pain. Kudos to Judy for her courage in the writing of this book.

My sister Betsy sent me an e-mail and said I might be interested in your home page. I was excited to read your testimony of your journey in the midst of grief and trials in the death of your daughter. I have a counseling ministry in Sweden where I both do counseling and teach in the counseling department of a seminary. Your experience is very much a part of my world as I meet people with similar hurt and pain. Thanks for sharing your life with others in this way.

I remember seeing Jenni for the first time as a new student at RCHS. She was beautiful, modest, and a little quiet and shy. We were not to become great friends, as she was a year younger than I, and in a different social group. However, she did touch my life and I will never forget her. I was pleasantly surprised at how she carried herself. She was a natural beauty....she didn't need to dress provocatively to impress or try to be someone she wasn't (as many of us did), seeming very comfortable with who she was. She may not even have been aware just how pretty she was. Aside from her aesthetics, she was profoundly intelligent, deep, artistic, spiritual, and kind to everyone she encountered. Looking back on the time I spent talking with her (we sat together in the library at school occasionally) I remember a mature, deep, sensitive soul who was wise beyond her years. She had much to offer the world, and it is so sad that she is not here to help others, as we know she would have. I read the article in the Daily Registe

I saw the article in the Capital Times about Jenni,you and your book. I will be ordering your book as soon as it is available. My son, Joel died Jan 1, 2004 of a massive heart attack. He was 37 and my only child. I miss him as much today as I did 2 years ago. I attend The Compassionate Friends in Madison and it has really helped me. I was sent your website from a good friend of mine. My only brother was killed in 1989. leaving me as the only child. I lost my only baby in 1988. My family understands grief. I did not know Jenni, only that she was a wonderful person. Kevin Knause was a long time, good friend of mine; and my brothers,we all grew up together. I remember how suddenly, very very happy Kevin became when he met Jenni. God Bless you.

Mom - Thank you for letting us share this journey with you. We are so very proud of you for being willing to share your story with so many. Through the pain, agony, tears, laughter, and joy. We didn't know Jenny personally..but knowing her Mom and Dad, we are sure she was a joy to be around. The Lord took Jenny and left an unfillable void in the lives of people who knew and loved her.
