Comments + Vindi details Tained as deckboy for twelve weeks from march 1966 and sailed from King George the fifth docks with Shaw Saville line after the seamans strike.I never made a career at sea but am glad to find that the Vindi is not forgotten.I still have my best book.

Swallowed the anchor in 1962 and joined wallasey fire service. Emigrated to Dunedin NZ in 1969 and retired from that after 28 years in 1997.
