Her parents took us to the State Fair in Shreveport when we were ten years old. We lost touch over the years and I am saddened by that, but I loved Dottie and it was a forever friendship. So sorry to hear of the passing of Larry. I remember him when I was a little girl living across the street from the Jitney Jungle store on Shirley Street. As a little girl, I remember going to his wedding with my parents and how nice he was to my mother and father (Katherine and Oscar Marcello) over the years until their passing. As a bride, I registered my china, silver, and crystal patterns at his gift store....when I moved back to DeRidder, in 1984, visiting with him made me feel at home. He was a wonderful person.
