Comments With heartfelt sympathy to the family of Mrs. Evans, may you find comfort in God's Word and in knowing that others also feel your sadness. Death and the loss of a dear loved one are usually the hardest things that we will ever have to cope with in this life. But the Bible offers hope. Pointing to a glorious time just ahead, Isaiah 25:8(and Rev 21:3 &4) says, "God will actually swallow up death forever and Jehovah God will certainly wipe the tears from all faces." Please read John 5:28 & 29. It has helped many bereaved ones as well as myself. I hope you will find the same comfort.

Comments Kind words of condolences from friends are blessings at times like these but only God’s Word can bring us true and lasting comfort. Our loving Creator never meant for humans to experience the painful sting of death. The Bible clearly shows that God will someday(and soon) bring about the following changes for mankind: Psalms 37:10,11,29(Matt 5:5); Revelation 21:4; Isaiah 11:6-9; Isaiah 33:24; Isaiah 35:5,6; John 5:28,29 Sincerely, Zach Scott

Comments To the Daughters(& families)of Wilma(& L.V.) Scott: I’m so sorry that the deaths of your parents came so close to each other and you’re having to feel this double sorrow and extended grief. Comments To the sons, husband(+ other family members) and friends of Mrs. Washington: God’s Word, the Holy Bible promises at Isaiah 25:8 that our loving Creator will eliminate, “swallow up death forever” one day soon. His son, Jesus Christ, "will call", resurrect out of “memorial tombs”(John 5:28,29), billions who have passed away in death over the centuries, into a new world, “new earth” where loved ones will be reunited and never have to part.(Rev 21:3,4)

Comments I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Ms. Oreatha. When Jesus walked the earth curing and resurrecting beloved ones of families such as Mary and Martha's brother, Lazarus, he was simply demonstrating what he could and would do on a much larger scale in the future. Jesus promised, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." John 5:28,29. May your reading these words from your own personal Bible give you some comfort.

Comments Mrs. Mango, Thelma, and Buna, I am so sorry to hear of the death your sister, Joyce. I remember her as a very beautiful young lady in high school, always having such a lovely, sincere smile(just as in the photograph). I know that the Faircloth family has had more than its share of grief, pain, and sorrow over the years. May you find consolation in the reading of Jesus’ words(through the apostle John) at Revelation 21:3&4: With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. My sincere condolences go out to you sisters and Joyce’s husband.

Comments Many who profess to be of the Christian Faith have somehow missed a most important teaching of the Bible and Jesus Christ: The meek(only the meek) will someday inherit the “land”(the actual physical planet earth) and forever therein reside and enjoy life in peace under the righteous rule of the Creator and His Son, Jesus Christ. (Gen 1:26-30; Gen 2:15-17; Prov 2:21, 22; Psalm 37:10, 11, 29; Matt 5:5; Matt 19:28, Matt 6:10; Luke 23:43; 1Cor 15:24-28; 2Pet 3:13; Rev 21:1, 3-5). Look these up in any Bible translation or version(Catholic or Protestant). They all say the same thing! This is not a new Bible teaching! In her mid-life, my mother, Lela, came to appreciate this exciting Bible promise and the wonderful hope of the resurrection(John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15).

Comments Almighty God views every single person that has ever lived(and died) as the work of his figurative “creative hands”. He has never gotten any pleasure in seeing anyone die. A wonderful(and sometimes not so obvious) message found in Job 14, verses 13 to 15, is that our Creator has a longing desire to completely remove the “sting of death” from the human family and he has a set date that he has commanded his Son to it. Isa 25:8; Psalms 37:29; Matt 5:5; John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; 1Cor 15:26; Rev 21:3, 4

Comments God’s Still Faithful When the mountain looks so tall Your faith is so small Your back’s against a wall There’s a God above Who’s looking down in love He’s always been faithful and true He’s a friend who sticks closer than a brother And He knows your pain like no other So don’t be afraid Step out in faith And call on His name God’s still faithful in the midst of it all He’s faithful When the earth beneath your feet Gives way in defeat He’s faithful When it’s just too much for you And you don’t know what to do God will carry you through When hope is all gone And you’ve no strength to hold on God’s still faithful Faithful is He When your faith is weak You’ve lost your peace When your whole world has shattered Nothing else matters And life just doesn’t mean anything Oh, God’s a present help in your times of trouble When everything around you has crumbled He will never change He will remain Forever the same
