Comments This is such a great site you put together! I attended Richland Center for two years and was a student at the time of the accident. I had just met jennifer and Kevin that year. I can honestly tell you that the thought of the accident is still with me, what a tragedy. Before that accident I dont think I had ever buckled my seat belt and since that day I have never not. God bless you!!

Comments I was sent your website from a good friend of mine. My only brother was killed in 1989. leaving me as the only child. I lost my only baby in 1988. My family understands grief. I did not know Jenni, only that she was a wonderful person. Kevin Knause was a long time, good friend of mine; and my brothers,we all grew up together. I remember how suddenly, very very happy Kevin became when he met Jenni. God Bless you.

Comments Dear Judy and family, I haven't as yet read your book. But I am looking forward to reading it. We lost our first child at birth and the only thing that helped me was the birth of our second child, Autumn. I still do not know how you were able to accept God's decision to call Jenni to heaven. When looking at Jenni's pictures, I was struck by her eyes, they reminded me so much of Jayne's daughter, Cassie. I didn't remember them looking so much alike until I compared Cassie's graduation pictures. It may be the age difference. Please keep your faith in God.

I wish I could have known her and as I said this morning, I wish I could have been there for you during those hardest of times. I can be a listener. I realize the pain is still there and since we are now friends, I will be there to listen, comfort, hold your hand or just give you a hug, WHENEVER! You are an amazing person with a great heart and spirit. I only hope that I can learn to love and trust HIM as you do. I'm finding my way, now, but it's been a while. Watching you (& my parents also) and your faith has made me want to bring the Lord back into my house and back to my family. Comments When I received the phone call that Sunday noon that Jenni had died, I left home, drove 500 miles and was with Judy that night. I have always said that week was the longest year of my life. Of all the things I remember about that week -- shopping at JC Penney's is one of the clearest. Judy, her sister Joanie, and I. We were in a fog. Joanie and I stood on either side of Judy, literally holding her up. I remember Karen Manning reaching across the counter to touch and hold Judy and tell her Jenni would have loved the beautiful pink sweater we selected. Jude was so relieved to know that because it would be the last time she would buy something for Jenni and she wanted it to be perfect. We were all falling apart and Karen Manning was so kind. I have not ever forgotten your compassion and kind words.
