I really wish the state or dea would do something about this place. All teh doc does is push methadone and tries to get you on a very high dose - more than 300 milgrams. I feel like im in a stupor, but my counsleor and the nurs say i'm fien and may need more to get over the stupor feelings. I need real help and it isnt at this place,

The staff at Rose Medical is very professional yet very friendly at the same time. They are all very knowledgeable about addiction. The counselors are very compassionate and make me feel like they really care about my well-being and my recovery. Dr. Rose seems a bit intimidating, but he is kind, caring, and helpful. The nurses are very efficient and are a joy to see and talk to when I go in to dose. The clinic itself is clean, visually appealing, and easy to find your way around in. Plus, the location is in a nice area, so you don't have to worry about loiterers trying to buy your medication, nor is it in a part of the city with heavy drug-dealing. A overall. P.S. Rashmi will be greatly missed.

Coming to Dr.Rose was one of the smartest decisions i made! His treatment without a doubt saved my life, saved my marriage and has given me back my life! My life today is as it was before i took my first pain pill for an operation i had on my shoulder, I'm back to being the loving father and husband along with money in my wallet, i could list many more things but i think everyone gets the idea! Dr.Rose saved me and put a smile back on my face,since December 13th give or take a day,of 2014, when i first walked into Rose Medical, i got my life back! Thanks Dr. Rose, thank you so much sir!!

I WAS RECENTLY PUT ON INTENSE PROBATION AND HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO STOP USING HERION. I WENT TO ROSE MEDICAL AND EXPLAINED MY SITUATION. EVEN KNOW THEY WERE OVER BOOKED THEY FOUND ME A SLOT THE NEXT DAY. TO TOP IT OFF I WOULD NOT HAVE THE MONEY UNTIL LATER THE NEXT DAY AND THEY GOT A PAY UP FRONT POLICY. THEY STILL ACCEPTED ME AND GAVE ME TILL THE NEXT DAY TO PAY. SO FAR SO GOOD THE STAFF WAS FRENDLY AND INFORMATIVE. THANKS ROSE MEDICAL AND ITS STAFF, ROBERT TUCKER

A few of us clients feel that someone is tampering with the methadone. Everyone is afraid to speak up. But sometimes we don't even feel our doses, we shouldn't be feeling sick we are on high enough doses and never had a problem until the past 3 months or so it just keeps getting worse. We like all the staff but we feel one guy has everyone fooled and is being extremely sneaky and smooth, also feel he's trying to set another nurse up in case someone catches on back there we also feel he set up a nurse who was fired not 100 percent on that one but we r just to the point we want tabs bc those can't be messed with. Can you plz keep a real close eye on things. He could be going behind the camera or if his backs to it idk but think methadone gets taken from the bottles and water added.

Before the commercials began on TV, I had no idea such humane treatment existed for opiate addiction. A year before I tried the "traditional" route by checking myself into Proctor. They seemed almost thrilled at the agony I would be going through and less interested in what they could do to help me. Plus, they had drug addicts, alcoholics, gambling addicts, bulimia patients and sex addicts all thrown together under the same program. It was at the height of a heat wave but we couldn't even wear capris because of the sex addict. I lasted 3 days. The only time they appeared to care was when I announced I couldn't take anymore. I was in my late 50's. They argued with me, telling me that I didn't know what I was doing. Perhaps, but I knew my body could not tolerate one more night on the wooden bed without a mattress(everyone else had regular hospital beds, even the empty beds). They wouldn't allow me to use their phone to contact my daughter to come after me. I packed and was allowed to drag my things to the curb outdoors

I had been going to the clinic for years. I have learned in the years attending that they don't give a shit about you getting clean. They would rather see you back on drugs then to get better. They pick favorites with there clients, they care more about the money!!! They need to get RID of Tina she is the most heartless person on the planet! I WOULD NOT ATTEND THIS FACILITY!!! LEAVING DID ME GOOD!!!

In reply to the other 2 or 3 posts I've seen about the methadone being messed with it is very obvious it's happening there was a worker gone for a couple weeks and I was fine now he's back and I'm back to feeling like I' ve not even dosed trying to find someone like the dr,Tina,hell even a counselor to talk to is a joke I'm ready to be outta this hell hole this isn't help at all seems like they don't care to help and this isn't the first time a worker has stolen the methadone a lot needs to change

The day I walked in the door of this place I was eating Tramadol like candy! It completely over took every part of my life. I found out about RMC through a local friend and it was the best move I could of made. I've read all these negative comment on here and it just makes me think that these people either dont want to be clean or think everything in life should be handed to them. I'm a firm believer in your gunna get out of something g what you put into it. The day I walked through hos doors I knew I wanted to get clean and wasn't gunna let anyone or anybody get in my way of achieving my goal. Now 8 years later I'm still clean with zero relapses! I've never dropped dirty not once!! The staff have all been very kind to me but I also show respect and act like an adult. I was at rose for a year then got off of it, after I got off i did good but went back to using heroin again. So now I am back on and in march I would be on it for a grand total of 3 years. It has helped me alot in some cases in other cases it hasn't it all depends on who you are as a person and if this really is the right thing for you. Personally I hate that I signed back up again if youre going in thinking that you are going to get clean off of heroin by taking methadone you gotta think you are substituting one drug for another and your MAINTAINING stability being an opiate dependent person.In no way are you clean at all. My bill got way to high and I will probably be detoxing soon and I probably won't stay clean and end up dead from a heroin OD. Atleast that's what Dr. Rose told me. I believe him sad to say he's brutally honest. So if you read this pray for me and methadone isn't the answer it's an excuse in my opinion.

Dr. Rose, In theary your program should work but from what I've seen from family members - you NEvER wean people off. You are their new "legal" drug dealer. Do you have any idea what Methodone is doing to babies born to mom's on this drug? They suffer horribly - it can take up to 60 days to get them clean. You need to educate women about the hell their newborn babies endure. Make it part of your program - for men and women - from their first visit and especially for a pregnant woman. I work at the Children's Hospital of Illinois in Peoria. We see many drug addicted babies and have video's that we could provide to you of babies going through redrawal. Perhaps that would be enough to turn these women around. Please help us help these innocent babies.

I want to this place for two years and yes anytime you have a problem he just says maybe you need more methadone I asked for almost a whole year to be starting to drop and then I had to take my mother in there and my DCFS caseworker got involved finally the only reason I did get detoxed was because they didn't tell me my bill was over $500 and I couldn't afford it and he could care less that I was sick afterwards I really feel like he cars Mir about money than the actual clients

Dr Rose and his councelors definitely helped me and ultimately SAVED MY LIFE! I have successfully weened off after 4 yrs....without their guidance the last 4 years I would not have the tools and mental health to get and stay clean. It's not for everybody and yes many people abuse it but if you are ready to get clean and take full advantage of their meetings and work with your councelors you can get your life back! I will be forever grateful to Dr Rose and my councelor!! ❤

This program has saved my life. Dr. Rose is a very competent doctor who understands and can read his patients. When I first called Phil was able to get me an intke appointment on a day they do not do intakes. During my first several weeks when they are trying to find the correct dose too keep you stable and comfortable Dr. Rose was able too figure out that I was scared and he stopped my dose at the right amount. Since getting the correct dose and sticking to the plan that Dr. Rose, my counselor Rushmi, and myself setup I have been able too retake control of my life. Thank you and God bless Dr. Rose and his amazing staff.

I've been a patient at this clinic for over a year now, and being there has done nothing to my life except making it a living hell. The staff was nice when I first started. It seemed like the longer I was there and increasing my dose the ruder they got. I've had 3 different counselors. The first one always fought me tooth and nail when it came to getting privileges. Especially my hardship. I lived 83 miles away but she said I couldn't get it because I hadn't been there long enough. She didn't understand that the hardship is something completely separate I had to have Vicki go and tell her to do because I did qualify. On top of that she also didn't fill out the paper work right. She hadn't done a hardship before and still refused to have Angel explain how to do it. One of the nurses said she was surprised I even got approved because of how wrong and incomplete it was. The 2nd one was extremely rude. The first thing she said to me was why I had switched to her. Kayla didn't give her any of the messages I had left for her

This clinic's atmosphere is very welcoming and inviting -not clinical like at all. If it weren't for this place opening its doors here in Peoria, i feel that i wouldnt be here. All of the staff are great our doctor here is in my opinion the best doctor in the field of addiction medicine there is. He has true compassion for addicts and his clients, which is something you will not find from other doctors in Peoria or even this area. He is on the leading edge using the best evidence based practices in addiction medicine today, whereas many docs can't even begin to understand addiction, but think they know what is best. This clinic and its staff are very respectful and treat you like a person and not society's trash.

"Izzy" is a sorry excuse for a human being. He always made me feel like I was a bad person and tired to make me feel dumb. He currently is still my counslor but I just go in when I know he won't be there so someone else will help me. He acts like he is doing you a favor by doing his job. Angel on the other hand is a great guy. He isn't even my counslor but helps me out way more then that turd ever has.

I have guest dosed around the country and have to say this methadone clinic is one of the best. I have guest dosed here multiple times and there is never a wait. They moved to a much nicer facility a few years ago and their staff is always kind, even when the paperwork on my end is not done correctly or not filled out right by my staff. There are never shady people lurking around outside asking for cigs or dealing and Peoria is a beautiful city. Every patient likes to complain, but I am here to tell you that you have it made if you go to this clinic compared to many others. The nurses and staff are super nice.

I am a client at Rose Medical and I can say that Dr. Rose and Methadone saved my life. While I work through the issues that led to my drug abuse and dependence, I am confident in knowing that I am at a much lower risk for relapse, overdose, legal problems or the problems associated with these. I attend Dr. Rose's weekly groups and get so much valuable information as well as the support I have come to count on. Since coming to Rose Medical Center, my life has done a complete turnaround. I went from being sporadically employed at menial jobs, to beginning my career in the Substance Abuse field. I am now employed as a Case Manager in an Addiction Recovery Center and have a passion for helping others as they search for a light in the deep darkness of addiction. I've done a lot hard work and soul searching to get to where I am today, but I owe a great deal of my success to Dr. Rose and my Counselor, Israel at Rose Medical Center.
