Comments My now ex husband served on the O'brien from 94-97 in Yokosuka. I served at CFay Port Ops. I helped bring in the O'Brien and take her out more times then I can remember. Only once did I ever stand on the pier and wave him off that was in Feb of 95'. I loved how everyone from the enlisted and to the Co would call down to my tug the USS Muskgeon YTB 763 and call out Mrs P or Penny. Hearing the O'Brien is no longer with us saddens me. She was an awesome ship. As was/is her Crew. I am in the cruise book kissing my ex fair well for the 95 cruise too. :) you all take care.

Dome watch after hitting something in water, splitting the dome window. I remember a lot of the guys in the photos submitted. Good memories good crew.
